Aerobics Class Descriptions
The group exercise classes are for ALL fitness levels.
Active Aging - Designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and help functional fitness. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing, and an 8 inch ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Barre Fusion - Combination of cardio, Pilates, barre and strength training designed to increase your cardiovascular strength while helping you to tone, sculpt, and lengthen your muscles from head to toe.
HIIT – Circuit training, fast-paced High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class in the GTX room. Rotate stations through timed intervals with a specific recovery time. Mega calorie burner, metabolic booster and fat burner!
Machines 101 - An introduction to the machines at Gym Time. This class is great for beginners who want to learn more about how to make the most of our gym equipment.
Muscle FIT/MuscleWorx - A total body workout using weights, dumbbells, stability balls, bars, elastic bands, body weight, Reebok STEP, and more! This class focuses on upper and lower body strength, balance, core strength, and flexibility.
REV+FLOW - Combines fitness, low-impact aerobics along with light handheld dumbbells to create a fun, high-energy, functional fitness class.
Spin, Core, and More - A fast paced cardiovascular workout on the spinning bikes, great lower body conditioning. Core and full body stretch afterwards. Your spin bike can be set to your own resistance, making it as challenging as you want and making it perfect for all ages and fitness levels.
Strength Circuit - Strength and interval training through various stations using dumbbells, resistance bands, body weight, hula hoop, Reebok STEP, and other tools to boost the metabolism, burn calories, and strengthen the body.
Stretch It Out - The stretch class improves range of motion, circulation, and balance with the use of elastic bands, stability balls, and 8 inch balls to enhance flexibility. It helps decrease stress, elongate the body, improve relaxation, joint mobility and flexibility, along with core development.
STROOPS - Stroops is interval training that combines strength training with cardiovascular training using elastic bands that create extra resistance and cause you to work harder, burn more calories and have lots of fun!
Zumba® - Zumba combines a variety of Latin rhythms: salsa, meringue, reggaeton, hip-hop, and more! This creates an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves throughout the class.
Zumba® Step - Zumba Step combines the elements of Step Aerobics with the upbeat rhythms and party atmosphere of Zumba. It focuses on the lower body – particularly the glutes and legs – while increasing cardio and the number of calories burned.
